Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1981 album from the gifted singer/songwriter. Talk Memphis was his last for the Bearsville label. It was produced by Hi Records' legend Willie Mitchell (himself a recent signing to Bearsville) and recorded at the Hi Studios in Memphis, the converted cinema where all of Al Green and Ann Peebles' classics were recorded. This release features six bonus tracks: three previously unreleased songs from the album sessions, and live recordings of three Winchester favorites. The booklet features the lyrics and extensive annotation by Alan Robinson. Edsel.
