The 24 hour Le Mans endurance race is known the world over because of the grueling racing conditions that those who are victorious must survive. The Toyota GT-One TS020 led the 1999 Le Mans up until one hour before the finish when it suffered an untimely tire blowout. Despite even this setback, it still finished second.
