- CPM-S35VN is a particle metallurgy stainless steel made by Crucible Industries. It is a modified version of CPM-S30V with the vanadium content reduced by 1% and replaced by 0.5% niobium.
- Knives made from S35VN will be tougher and less likely to chip than knives made from S30V. CPM-S35VN is a well balanced knife steel that offers good corrosion resistance, edge holding and better toughness than most stainless steels. It is a good steel to choose for almost any type of knife, including high quality hunting knives, kitchen knives, or folding knives.
