- Set of 2 HVAC blend door actuator gear replacments for 2011-2021 Grand Cherokee WK2 and Durango.
- If you have no heat or AC on one side of the vehicle, you may discover the actuator is cracked and HVAC blend door actuator gear cogs are broken. You just need to repalce the damaged blend door actuator gear instead of the entire blend door assembly.
- Blend door actuator gear connects the temperature door actuator to the temperature control door. Actuators control air/temperature blending and the direction of air flow. Gears rotated by a small motor move doors in the HVAC incrementally between 90°-180° to reach desired air and temperature flow.
- The passenger side is not so bad, but the driver's side is a little more difficult to install, due to being in a much tighter space.
