Created by internationally renowned designer Irma Boom, it follows her prize-winning design for Sheila Hicks: Weaving as Metaphor (Yale University Press / Bard Graduate Center, 2006). In the text Annie Carlano situates 'one work' - Hicks' vibrant linen-wrapped tubes - in the discourse on the transformative and inspirational interaction between twenty-first-century art and architecture.
