This particular chrysocolla is from the Sonoran Region of Mexico, which is known for its dark blue-green specimens. This stone is sold in 1/2 ounce units and is great for jewelry embellishments and/or woodworking inlay. This material is considered to be medium to fine, ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters (between sieve #10 - #60). This product is NOT man-made, mixed with resin, or stabilized. Please be careful when buying crushed minerals since most products have a caveat in fine writing that states that this stone might be man-made, mixed with resin, or is made from a composite (generally, plain stone mixed with a dyed resin to make the product seem authentic and is allowed to be called natural).
