This fun and handy Moisture Meter instantly tells you the moisture at the roots of a plant to prevent over and under watering. To use, switch to moisture/pH/light position according to demand. Insert the probe into the soil about 2-4 inches. Adjust the position of the probe until the pointer on the dial swing slightly. Check moisture on the dial after 10 minutes. Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use. Do not force it into very hard soil or touch hard objects since it may damage the probe. Do not use it to test pure water or other liquids, it should only be used to measure soil. Do not leave the meter in the soil for extended periods of time. If the soil is too dry the indicator will not move and the plant should be watered before testing. No batteries required.
