GOOD DEEDS AND BAD SEEDS: Sixtieth in a Series of Jess Williams Westerns (A Jess Williams Western Book 60)
After his rest in Stratton, Texas, Jess is back to doing what he does best, hunting down the worst of men. He finds himself in the town of Willow, looking for the next man on his list, Travis McClellan. After killing McClellan, he finds out that he worked for a man by the name of Theo Keene, who seems to have a grip around the necks of the people in Willow.
Jess gets in the middle of the town’s problems and then gets a warning by the county sheriff, who threatens him with jail time if he doesn’t move on. Things heat up between the county sheriff, Theo Keene and Jess.
While involved in the mess in Willow, Jess receives an urgent request from United States Marshal, Frank Reedy. He wants Jess to travel to a town outside of Denver, Colorado, to take a brutal killer by the name of Terry Treadway into custody from the town marshal there.
The only problem is, Reedy wants Jess to bring him all the way back to Stratton, Texas, for a hanging. When Treadway starts resisting along the way, Jess isn’t sure Treadway will make it to Stratton alive or draped over the saddle of his packhorse Sharps.
