SPICY & INVIGORATING BLEND - Perfectly spicy with only the finest unsweetened Assam black tea leaves from India. We add premium organic South Asian spices and ingredients like whole cardamom, rich cinnamon, aromatic cloves, and fresh peppercorns
NATURAL & ORGANIC - We never add anything but organic, natural ingredients and whole spices. Drink it as a traditional chai or enjoy it simply as freshly spiced chai tea steeped hot or as a refreshing iced tea
NO ADDED NATURAL OR ARTIFICIAL FLAVORING - Original Masala Chai tea blends never had artificial sweeteners, flavorings, preservatives, or colors. So, at Golden Moon we use real ingredients only - so what you taste is naturally flavored tea
NO PLASTIC TEABAGS - We are a bagless tea company to ensure nothing leaches in during the steeping and brewing process. We refuse to use teabags because they all contain plastic
QUALITY ASSURANCE - Organic is just the beginning. We check each tea to ensure purity
Tasting Notes An exotic, spiced tea from the Himalayas of Northern India. Aromatic and warming, natives of India often tell us that this authentic chai reminds them of home. Bold, spicy, and complex with an underlying sweetness that makes you feel like you are drinking comfort from a cup. Serve with milk and cane sugar for a rich treat.
Sourcing One of the keys to a good Masala Chai is to have a strong tea base. That is why we chose a small cut leaf from the Doomni Farm in the Baksa District of Assam, India. This particular Assam is grown along the Brahmaputra River and has a pronounced, rich, malty body with notes of tobacco and caraway seeds. We then add whole Indian cardamom seeds, Sri Lankan cloves, Vietnamese peppercorn, Sri Lankan cinnamon, and Chinese ginger.
