VARIETY: CITRA LupuLN2 is purified lupulin powder containing most of the resin compounds and aromatic oils derived directly from whole hop flowers. It is ideal for use in the whirlpool or fermenter for imparting intense hop flavor and aroma with minimal vegetal flavor and improved yield. Cryo HopsÂ® LupuLN2Â® represents the most innovative hop product technology available. Utilizing industry leading, cryogenic processing, whole-leaf hops are separated into lupulin and bract at extremely low temperatures. LupuLN2Â® hop powder is the concentrated lupulin of wholeleaf hops containing resins and aromatic oils. It is designed to provide intense hop flavor and aroma, enabling brewers to dose large quantities of hops without introducing astringent flavors or vegetative material. The estimated dosing rate for LupuLN2Â® hop pellets is 50% of T90 hop pellets by weight. LupuLN2Â® beers showcase pronounced juicy and resinous flavors with reduced grassy characteristics. As a result, some brewers recommend using LupuLN2Â® in conjunction with T90 pellets to ensure the complexity and flavors of the whole hop cone are retained.
