George Fredrick MÃ¼ller (September 27, 1805 â€“ March 10, 1898) remains one of the church's most vibrant Christian witnesses to the efficacy of a simple trust in Christ. As an evangelist and coordinator of orphanages in Bristol, England, he oversaw the care of over 10,000 orphans during his life-time. So efficient was his care of the young, that his education system was accused of raising the poor above their natural station in life.
