Ascend Tools 5-1/2 inch Multipurpose Electrical Shears - Cut/Strip Electrical Wire with Wire Cutting Notch, Crimp Wire, Clean/file Electrical Boxes
- Very sharp cutting edges to easily cut soft cable up to 50mm2 OD / 8mm dia.
- Strip insulation and crimp terminals (0.5 - 4mm2)
- File and clean burrs in punch outs holes on electrical boxes
- Cut copper sheet up to 0.5mm thick, cable ties, soldering wire, solder wick
- Extended tang for durability and efficient force transfer, Ambidextrous
These Electrical Shears are any electrician's choice scissors.
The blades are made from high carbon alloy steel from Japan and are infused with Molybdenum and Vanadium through a proprietary manufacturing process to achieve a level of hardness (HRC 58~60) to cut soft cables. A notch close to the hinge provides placement of cable and allows for highest cutting force due to leverage. One blade is micro-serrated for non-slip cutting. The blades are also outfitted with sporty ergonomic handles made of Nylon with 30% fiberglass and TPR over-molded for comfort.
