The New York City SHSAT is changing. Prepare for the new test with confidence from the test maker with more than 75 years of expertise! Starting in October 2017, students will take the revised SHSAT. The redesign will affect the test format and timing: the redesigned SHSAT is 3 hours long and has 114 questions. The Math section will include more word problems and 5 grid-in questions, while the ELA section will no longer include scrambled paragraphs or logical reasoning.
