- 4 fl oz / 118 ml bottle of 3M 4298 liquid primer adhesion promoter (equivalent to 47 sponge applicators, search ASIN: B01G2AKDYE). Increases the bond strength of all acrylic adhesive tapes to most substrates, including plastics. Clear light yellow primer is detectable by UV light, dries in approximately 30 seconds. Same ingredients as 3M 06396 except with detectable primer.

3M Adhesion Promoter 4298UV is a liquid primer used for most low surfaces energy plastics. This would include common low surface energy plastics used for automotive dash and interior trim applications (TPO, PPO, PP, PC, PC + ABS, etc). For best results, apply tape immediately after primer application or no more than one hour after primer application.
