Water Leak Detector with Two Probes and Low Db Alarm Indicates Leak Location MADE IN USA. Use this twin probe moisture sensor by Dynaquip Controls with the WaterCop (not included): protect two water using appliances like a water heater and a washing machine with the same water alarm . This twin probe water sensor by DynaQuip uses 2 AA batteries or an optional AC adapter. Water sensor alarm intensity is similar to a watch alarm or a pager beep . Alarms when either probe detects moisture or water. Water alarm also transmits a radio signal to the Watercop automatic water valve actuator (if installed) and shuts the valve to turn off water. Note: Safe Homes does not recommend using this unit as a local stand-alone alarm as it is not loud. It is meant to work with the Water Cop unit. One twin probe water alarm protects two adjacent water using appliances. Monitor specific leak prone areas within the home for unwanted and potentially damaging water accumulation of internal flooding. Moisturesensor alarms feature a robust 418MHz radio transmitter chipset with up to a 200 foot operating range. User adjustable digital security codes. Operate on either two (2) AA batteries or an optional AC power adapter. Note: Current configuration does NOT allow for batteries to back up AC Adapter. Low battery warning chirp.
