It is equipped with 4 universal clamps - 2 of which attach to the balusters of a railing and 2 that hold the many different pole accessories. Please see clamp description below. Use with an umbrella to provide more shade for your outdoor activity. Ideal for both residential and commercial areas, such as garden, pool, deck, porch, balcony, restaurant, and any other outdoor areas. At night quickly and easily replace the umbrella with a garden torch for night time ambiance. Note This mount is not to be used with cantilever or offset umbrellas. Use with a Shepherd's hook and enhance your deck, dock, patio or balcony and beautify your outdoor living space with hanging baskets, flower pots, bird houses/feeders, lanterns, candle holders, garden lights, mason jars, holiday decorations, string lights, wind chimes, ornaments, flower balls, bird baths, insect repellents, bug zapper hanger, and more! Other uses include vertical flagpoles, garden torches or vertical poles with a diameter smaller than 2 inches. Clamp Description: The Universal Clamp Assembly will adjust from 3/8 inch to 2 inches*. The hardware (1/4-20 x 2" carriage bolts) included with this product will allow it to be securely attach to a wood, metal or solid plastic baluster/pole as follows. A square vertical baluster/pole from 3/8 inch to 1 Â½ inches (1 Â½ inch is a standard wood baluster). A round vertical baluster/pole from 3/8 inch to 2 inches. *Longer bolts will need to be used for square balusters/poles larger than 1 Â½ inches.
