If you're new to soap making, you may be confused by the terms melt and pour and cold process (or rebatch) soap. Here's a brief introduction of the two:

Melt and Pour Soap Base is made from glycerin, which makes them easier to "melt and pour". This soap is perfect for beginners and those wanting an easy soap making experience.

Cold Process (or rebatch) soap is often called "True Soap", because it's made with all natural ingredients and mixed with either potash or lye to initiate the saponification process (i.e., the process that produces soap).
