TRIBBLES (Polygeminus grex) are small, non-intelligent lifeforms originating from Iota Geminorum IV.

A close relative of the ÒtigerÓ TRIBBLE is the cheetah TRIBBLE. The TRIBBLE homeworld jungles are populated by voracious cat-like predators of all sizes. Some of these predators are very fast. Because a TRIBBLE cannot outrun a fast predator, evolution has provided a bizarre adaptation. The ÒcheetahÓ TRIBBLE has evolved to look like the cub of the predator. This allows it to live within the predator families unharmed and protected from other predators. JUNGLE TRIBBLES eat plants, roots, berries, and occasionally small insects.

Known for their prodigious reproductive rate, these round, furry creatures emit cooing sounds while touched, which have a tranquilizing effect on the human nervous system.
