As a standalone planter, the CASCADINO Color comes equipped with five side openings and one main planting area, up top, creating room for up to six plants - offering substantial volume without taking up tons of space. Simply fill it with your favorite flowers or herbs, and you'll have a luscious garden at your fingertips. The planter features the LECHUZA signature .08 gallon water reservoir, extending time between watering's, and a water-level indicator, which takes the guesswork out of plant care by showing when the reservoir needs to be refilled. Also included with this planter is LECHUZA's specially-formulated plant substrate, LECHUZA-PON which separates your potting soil from the water reservoir, aerates the roots, provides your plants with nutrition, and helps regulate the water supplied to your plant. As an indoor and outdoor planter, the CASCADINO Color is outfitted with a drainage plug to allow for the removal of excess rainwater when installed outdoors. To transform the CACADINO Color into a hanging planter, purchase the hanger set which is sold separately and is comprised of a decorative planter base and heavy duty hanger.
