This high-end, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil is very well balanced with a bitter, spicy taste and bursts with fragrances of artichoke, oregano and green tomato.  This extra virgin olive oil is made from a variety of five olives:  Moresca, Biancolilla, Nocellara, Cerasuola and Tonda Iblea.  These olives give the olive oil it's cloudy, green golden-hued color. Â
The olives are harvested between November and December in southeast Sicily.  Once the olives are carefully selected they are cold pressed within 6 hours of picking.  This ensures that the intoxicating scents and flavors are locked in.  Cold extracting the olives guarantees a low-acidic olive oil creating the highest-quality olive oil possible.

The Cutrera family's experience in olive oil production dates all the way back to 1906. Giovanni Cutrera opened his first mill in southeastern Sicily in 1979.  Due to the high demand for their olive oil they decided to open a second mill 1999.  The family owned and operated business is now known globally for creating some of the finest olive oils in the world.
