- Lubricate synthetic rubber gaskets and seals in high-temperature applications.

DOW CORNING HIGH VACUUM GREASE, Package Size: 57 gm. (2 oz.).

Designed for sealing and lubricating vacuum and pressure systems. It is a stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating material that maintains its consistency from -40 to 204Â°C (-40 to 400Â°F).

It is used in applications similar to those for Dow CorningÂ® Stopcock Grease, and is the recommended replacement for that product. Previously known as Dow CorningÂ® 976 or 976V High Vacuum Grease. Any specifications calling for Dow CorningÂ® 976, Dow Corning 976V or Dow CorningÂ®Stopcock Grease can be satisfied with Dow CorningÂ® High Vacuum Grease.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
- Insoluble in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone, glycol and glycerine.
- Unaffected by most vegetable and minerals oils, many organiccompounds, and most common gases.
- Resistant to most aqueous solutions of inorganic salts and to dilute acids and alkalies.
