The compass is liquid-filled for quicker accuracy and shows eight directional reference points: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW. The push-button LED gives backlight to the compass face and extra lighting on the trail. A rotating bezel allows users to mark the compass in two-degree increments and a special kidney-shape design allows for a more comfortable grip. The compass includes a neck lanyard for hands-free use and operates on a single replaceable coin cell battery (included).
