The concept:
The Polar Ice Tray mimics the natural formation of ice in lakes and rivers, which freeze on the surface while the water below remains unfrozen. Similarly, our unique patented ice tray has an insulated bottom so that only the surface of the water is exposed to the cold. By allowing the water to freeze from the top to bottom, layer by layer, air and impurities are compressed at the bottom. This layer of 'white' or opaque ice is then removed, leaving a block of crystal clear ice.
