Bel-Art KS-69 Color Filter for Clinical and Industrial Model Klett Colorimeters; 660-740 Spectral Range (T37014-0069)
Filters for both clinical and industrial model colorimeters
These sturdily constructed photometers use glass filters for colorimetric and turbidimetric analyses to obtain readings on a KlettTM scale. The measurements are in Klett units, and they are directly proportional to the solution's OD, according to Beer's Law. Other photometric instrument scales are 'shorter' than the Klett's and thus the Klett's readings offer greater exactness. Accessory filters provide measurement over the entire visual range and measurements for both color and turbidity are allowed. A pair of matched photovoltaic cells and a suspension galvanometer allow a wide range of readings; the unit is unaffected by light and ambient temperature. The galvanometer offers excellent exactness for its class, and features an illuminated logarithmic scale, with markings from 1 to 1000 KlettTM. Two models are available. The Industrial Model is compatible with rectangular cuvettes, which may be employed in one of two orientations. Readings are obtained at depths of 10mm, 20mm, or 40mm. An optional reduction plate may be used to reduce solution depth to . An optional adapter allows test tubes to be used in the Klett unit. The Clinical Model employs regular x 125mm test tubes. Can choose to purchase both calibrated or uncalibrated tubes. Micro test tubes may also be employed for small volume samples (as low as 2.5 ml). Both versions of the KlettTM include the blue (400-450nm) and green (520-580nm) glass filters. Comes with clear instructions, standards and usage guides for several common tests. Available in 115 or 220V. Durable construction for long service life• Reproducible results with exactness to % on the full scale• Measurements for both color and turbidity are possible• Balanced electrical circuits that are fully compensated avoid the use of storage batteries or current regulators Description: color filter, KS-69Spectral Range: 660-740
