UK five CD set from the Liverpudlian trio led by brilliant singer/songwriter Ian McNabb. Scoring a UK chart hit with Love Is A Wonderful Colour from their debut album, The Icicle Works developed a loyal following with their anthemic Rock that set them apart from their Liverpudlian contemporaries Echo And The Bunneymen, The Teardrop Explodes and Wah!. Never confined to one style, main-man McNabb s impassioned guitar Rock, alongside the propulsive drumming of Chris Sharrock, was under-appreciated at the time but influenced many UK bands from the '90s. This box contains the four Beggars Banquet studio albums recorded by the original band, remastered with bonus tracks, plus a live show from 1986. Each disc runs for around 78 minutes and there is some tremendous bonus material.
