- Constructed with industrial grade stainless steel, this valve is very durable and resilient, leak resistant, corrosion resistant, and optimal for higher pressure and temperature projects. It can be used with drinking water or other water projects, gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene oil, natural gas, air etc.
- This valve was manufactured with a VITON seal. VITON is the most durable and high performance rubber material with the ability to resist high temperatures and corrosive chemicals and other fluids like gasoline, diesel fuel, oils, and lubricants.
- This highly responsive valve will open and close in less than 1 second when actuated; meaning it will open or close the flow instantaneously when energized or de-energized. Also, our U.S. SOLID engineers have determined that the life cycle of this valve is well over a million cycles with proper operating conditions and maintenance.
- PLEASE NOTE: This valve is NOT a continuous duty valve and should NOT be in continuous use for more than 8 hours in a single cycle; to do so will shorten the life of the valve and may cause the core of the valve to burn out. U. S. Solid Normally Closed Electric Solenoid Valve;

1"ports, stainless steel body, Viton seal, 24 volt AC, for air, water, or oil

U. S. Solid normally closed (N/C) electric solenoid valve is constructed with a high-quality stainless steel body, two-way inlet and outlet ports with one inch (1") female threaded (NPT) connections, and heat and oil resistant Viton gasket.

The direct current coil energizes at 24 volts AC; voltage range + or - 10%. 18 Watt power rating.

Semi-direct lift valve operates from 0 PSI to a maximum pressure of 145 PSI (0 MPa to 1.0 MPa). Operational pressure range for water: 0 to 101 PSI; for oil: 0 to 72 PSI; for air or gases: 0 to 101 PSI.

1" (25 mm) flow aperture permits a unidirectional flow capacity of 12 gallons per minute (GPM) of water at 60oFwith a pressure drop of 1 PSI (12 Cv).

Operational temperature range is 14 to 248 degrees Fahrenheit; -10 to +120 degrees Celsius. Suitable for outdoor use; not for use underwater.

Suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, very low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), oils and hydrocarbons, e.g., gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.

Customers chose this general purpose valve for: do-it-yourself projects, moderate temperature applications, harsh chemicals, flow control for irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems or to control flow of propane gas.

Valve is not intended to be energized continuously for more than 8 hours. This can lead to burnout of the coil, and malfunctioning of the valve.
